Though not the 6 inch heels (well 2 or 3 inch) that I would have preferred to wear to the 70th anniversary opening night of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.
A great concert -- in the art-deco large concert hall -- preceded by a nice dinner at Peppercorns.
Home late, way past my bedtime, and my right foot hurt -- it's still too swollen for proper shoes.
But that won't stop me from going out dressed nicely, wearing sneakers ...
Maybe I should get a long, flowing, white skirt.
Ah, vanity!
